Medical profiloplasty

Medical profiloplasty is the art of analysing, correcting and harmonising a person’s profile with injections of filler products, without performing surgery.

This technique requires real expertise in aesthetic medicine because it potentially affects several of the face’s so-called “noble” structures:

Nose: medical rhinoplasty allows us to correct some of the profile’s defects, namely when the nose has a bump and/or a drooping tip.
Forehead: medical frontoplasty allows us to give the forehead a more convex shape and therefore create a nice angle between the nose and the forehead, particularly if a medical rhinoplasty is also being carried out.
Chin: medical genioplasty allows us to make the chin blend in better with the rest of the face by increasing its projection and/or lengthening it if it is too set back and/or too short.

All of these procedures are carried out primarily with hyaluronic acid injections, as this is an extremely safe filler product that is resorbed by the body over time.

The amount of time the products lasts varies according to the areas treated and they require six-monthly or annual top-ups, with quantities that generally lessen over time (and therefore so does the cost).

To go one step further and improve the face’s whole profile, and the view from the front, we can sometimes offer injections into the tear trough which, once projected, will give the impression of a shorter nose.

Please note that all of these areas are assessed as a whole within the framework of a medical profiloplasty, but not all of the areas will be injected.
