The muscle cells hyper-stimulated by these electromagnetic waves when the applicators come into contact with the skin will develop and strengthen the deep muscle mass. The possible application zones for this treatment are:

The abdominal band
The thighs (quadriceps, abductors and adductors)
The buttock muscles
And soon the arms (biceps, triceps)

The clinical studies into this latest-generation technology found an average 15% increase in muscle mass in the treated areas, two months after the series of Cristal Fit® sessions.

The correct indications for Cristal Fit®

High intensity medical electrostimulation can be performed on men as well as women, to refine the figure without surgery.

Sometimes, a peripheral fat treatment by cryolipolysis will be recommended as a complement to this treatment, in order to address the muscle and peripheral fat at the same time.

In both cases, the techniques are non-invasive and pain-free.

These treatments are not recommended if the patient is severely overweight and/or has an unhealthy lifestyle (unbalanced diet – no or very little exercise).

The primary counterindications for this type of treatment are:

pregnancy
breastfeeding
having a copper coil fitted
having any metallic and/or electronic equipment fitted, such as a defibrillator or pacemaker

What happens during a Cristal Fit® session?

After identifying what needs treating with Dr Schinazi, the patient is settled into a room dedicated to Cristal Fit® electrostimulation.

All metallic items must then be removed, as they could interfere with the electromagnetic waves (rings, bracelets, belts, etc.).

A medical assistant then positions the applicators according to Doctor Schinazi’s recommendations and follows the protocols he has prescribed (the intensity and frequency settings for the muscle contractions).

Once the treatment has begun, the forced contractions can be felt by the patient and the pattern follows a very precise training protocol for 30 to 45 minutes.

In total, 20,000 to 30,000 contractions are carried out per session (“crunches” or “squats”).

Note that the Cristal Fit® treatment only stimulates the muscles and does not affect the surrounding tissues in any way.

Number of sessions required and cost of Cristal Fit® treatment

The results vary from one patient to the next, according to each person’s lifestyle and metabolism. The treatment includes 2 important phases:

attack: 4 to 6 closely-grouped sessions over 2 to 3 weeks in total to stimulate the area of muscle treated as much as possible
maintenance: one session every month for non-sporty patients or every 3 months for more active patients in order to achieve long-lasting results

There are no undesirable effects known to date and no downtime is required after treatment. This means you can get straight back to your everyday life after each session.

The results are generally noticed 4 to 6 weeks after the “attack” phase.

The fee charged for this type of treatment is 150 euros per session.
