Eye Glow : treating under-eye creases

The eye contour is a delicate area, for several reasons:

The epidermis, dermis and hypodermis are very thin
There is no sebum in this area
A number of blood vessels pass through it and are visible through the thin skin

With age and repeated facial expressions, the skin around the eyes is subject to various modifications:

Crow’s feet wrinkles are characterised by creases – some temporary, some permanent – at the corner of the eyes. These wrinkles become deeper when the person smiles and are shaped like the spokes of a wheel.
Loss of volume in the cheekbones and temples.
Loss of volume in the lower eyelids and the appearance of dark under-eye circles
Drooping in the upper eyelids
Loss of skin elasticity and density
Loss of radiance

If there are bags under the eyes or too much sagging in the lower eyelids, only surgical treatments will suffice (not available in our practice).

For lower eyelid folds (under-eye creases) and if there are no adjoining eye bags, we can now improve the skin quality, in terms of creases, wrinkles and dark shadows.

Protocol

The EYE GLOW protocol combines several treatments in one session, allowing us to act upon these signs of aging:

Step 1: BRIGHT PEEL: Superficial peel around the eye contour

This peel contains various fruit acids (phytic, citric, glycolic) with the aim of purifying, gently exfoliating and lightening under-eye shadows as the sessions progress.

Conditions: Patients must not be pregnant or breastfeeding and must not expose the area to the sun for at least a month after every session, or use exfoliating creams (fruit acids, retinoids, etc.) in the 48 hours before each treatment.

Step 2: MULTI-PUNCTURE INJECTION: Point by point injection of bio-stimulating and revitalising complexes containing non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, poly vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants using a medical injection device specially designed for the eye contour:

This technology allows us to inject this fragile area safely thanks to its almost imperceptible micro-needles. It considerably reduces the risk of bruising.

Note that, to repair the skin and reduce wrinkles within the framework of an “EYE GLOW” treatment, we voluntarily create papules (skin protuberances in the injection points), which always disappear in the hours following treatment (maximum 24 hours).

Step 3: Hydrating mask and light therapy

In order to potentiate the effects of the eye contour peel (Bright Peel) and the vitamin micro-injections, immediately after treatment we apply a hydrating and soothing mask for a few minutes and round off the session with an LED treatment (light therapy).

The recommended protocol is for 3 sessions spaced around 15 days apart, plus a top-up session every 3 months, if necessary.

These treatments are performed exclusively by our associate doctors and fees start at 150 euros per session.
